Egyptian art- Passion for ordinary

Egyptian art - Passion for ordinary
The Sphinx of Giza

Egyptian culture had a passion for ordinary. They used to draw the human body in a different way. The body were transformed in a V shape from chest, the arms of a human figure used to be mostly with arms together facing the same direction of the face and feet. The fingers were with the same size. The eyes made them unique and unrealistic and stiff. The pose cannot be that way in real like.  Egyptian art lasted approximately 3000 years and for all these years the Egypt only saw this type of figure. It was done to show a type of style for the Egyptian culture.
Ordinary was an important thing for Egyptians in fact they found grids marked with red on walls to always repeat the same figure style. The pupil of the eye used to be marked on a grid centered.  The grids show clearly how the style never changed at that time. Everything had order in Egyptian culture even the famous pyramids and the sculptures.
